Hey There!

I’m Yoselin but everyone calls me Yosi (Josie) πŸ€—

UX Designer with a diverse academic background: bachelor's degree in architecture, a master's degree in sustainable design, and a Master's Degree in HCI. Additionally, I have acquired expertise through multiple certifications in UX design fundamentals, UX research, and UX writing.

Proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and inVision, I have conducted extensive user research, developed compelling and responsive UI, crafted high-fidelity prototypes, and consistently updated and maintained website content.

A few things about me:

- I LOVE to travel and discover new places, but I hate airplanes βœˆοΈ

- My family & friends will say that I'm outgoing and I talk a lot πŸ‘€

- I'm quite determined, but I may shed a few tears along the way πŸ˜…

- My perfect Sunday plan: sit on my sofa and watch K-dramas πŸΏ

My path

I studied architecture in Venezuela and graduated in 2018. A few months later, I moved to Spain to pursue a master's degree in Sustainable Design.

After completing my studies and living in Spain for two more years, in 2021, I relocated to the U.S. to study English as a second language. Shortly after, I embarked on my journey to become a UX Designer by enrolling in a graduate program in Human-Computing Interaction at UMBC.

My professional goal

My professional goal is to collaborate with product teams to help people by designing solutions to their problems; and delivering beautiful, equitable, and inclusive user experiences.

I believe my diverse background gives me useful skills like the ability to work with a human-centered and empathic perspective, the capacity to design visual experiences, and the knowledge to work with structure, grids, scales, and components, which I can apply to product design in the digital world.
